Code of Conduct

Introduction

Welcome to the LightDiffusion community! We are committed to providing a friendly, safe, and welcoming environment for all, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, ethnicity, religion, or age. This Code of Conduct outlines our expectations for participants within the community, as well as the steps to reporting unacceptable behavior.

Our Standards

Be Respectful

  • Treat everyone with respect.
  • Be considerate of differing viewpoints and experiences.
  • Gracefully accept constructive criticism.

Be Inclusive

  • Seek to understand and respect different perspectives.
  • Avoid discriminatory or exclusionary behavior.

Be Collaborative

  • Share knowledge and help others.
  • Foster a welcoming environment for collaboration.

Be Mindful

  • Be aware of your surroundings and of your fellow participants.
  • Alert community leaders if you notice a dangerous situation or someone in distress.

Unacceptable Behavior

Examples of unacceptable behavior include:

  • Harassment, intimidation, or discrimination in any form.
  • Offensive comments related to gender, sexual orientation, disability, ethnicity, religion, or age.
  • The use of sexualized language or imagery.
  • Unwelcome sexual attention or advances.
  • Trolling, insulting, or derogatory comments.
  • Public or private harassment.
  • Publishing others’ private information without explicit permission.

Reporting and Enforcement

Reporting

If you are subject to or witness unacceptable behavior, or have any other concerns, please notify a community leader as soon as possible. You can report issues by:

Enforcement

Community leaders are responsible for clarifying and enforcing our standards. They may take appropriate and fair corrective action in response to any behavior they deem inappropriate, including:

  • A warning to the offender.
  • Temporary or permanent expulsion from the community without warning.
